It is known as "The Pink City" for the traditional color of its houses, or "The City of Seven Wonders" for its rich architectural heritage. The streets and plaza of the monumental zone of Lampa were declared historical monuments of Peru on December 28, 1972, by RS No. 2900-7Z-ED.

THE HATUN PHAUSA WATERFALL

It is located in the district of Santa Lucía, located approximately at 4,025 meters above sea level. The vertical drop of the waterfall is approximately 70 meters high, the waters fall through the central part of a large rock formation as a shelter, the water initially reaches a rock more than 15 meters high, on which it forms successive falls to a circular pool of crystal-clear water, from there the waters continue their journey downriver.

Cayachira Rock

Located in the same hamlet, 16 kilometers from the town, it is a large rock approximately 120 meters high. At the bottom there is a large cave that the community's inhabitants sometimes use for livestock work and other times to shelter from the rain. It is also accessible by a dirt road. In front of it, there are also some sulfurous waters similar to Agua Socosani, which lack due importance.

CAYACHIRA ROCK

Its majesty evokes beautiful experiences and unforgettable memories that visitors take home in both videos and images. Located 20 kilometers from the town of Santa Lucia, in the jurisdiction of the Cayachira community, it is reached by a dirt road and a short stretch on foot. It hides great mysteries.

LENZORA CAVE

An archaeological monument that resembles a bull, but when viewed more closely it represents the shape of a feline, which is why it could also be called a feline cave. Inside this cave we find 40 rock carvings where representations of camelids and anthropomorphic beings can be seen, engraved using the low-relief technique on the walls of the Lenzora cave.

THE COLONIAL BRIDGE OF LIME AND CANTO

This Lampa bridge is one of the most beautiful in the region. Built in 1845, it is made of stone with ashlar facings, and its execution was a technical challenge. The construction of the Lampa bridge was intended to connect the region with the towns of Cabanillas and Cabanilla. The town of Lampa is reconstructed, as evidenced by a stone ashlar located on one of the perimeter supports.

THE CHURCH OF JAMES THE APOSTLE

The monumental construction of the Church stands out imposingly in the context of the city. The church, located in the city of Lampa, was declared a national monument by Law No. 9342 of February 20, 1941.

THE CATACOMBS

Those that are crossed by mysterious tunnels supposedly Inca, which according to legend are said to lead to Cuzco or to gold mines and that the people who entered them never came out.

THE GAME OF THE GOOSE

In Lampa, a Republican house stands out for preserving an original courtyard with a huge Game of the Goose made of stones from Lake Titicaca. The players served as pieces, moving with a die and a cup toward the end at number 63. The central medallion shows a taruca and the date 1850, when this work of folk art was created. (2 soles)

THE EXACT REPLICA OF MICHELANGELO'S PIETY

One of the most wonderful works of art in the history of all time is the "Pieta." The Pieta, as the sculpture depicting the Virgin Mary's pain as she holds the body of Christ descending from the cross is called, was made by the extraordinary Italian creative genius Michelangelo Bounarroti.

CHINCHILLA BREEDERS

The pink city of Lampa has a chinchilla farm located practically on the western outskirts of the Palca district. There, at the Ministry of Agriculture headquarters, is a renovated facility that has provided a habitat for approximately 120 chinchillas.
