MOHO PROVINCE

Umuchi Lithographic Museum
The town of Umuchi was named the "Sacred Valley of the Altiplano" by the provincial municipality of Moho in 1999. Don Mariano Yanarico Mamani was born on December 5, 1925, in the town of Umuchi. As a very young child, he migrated to the city of Chulumani, Bolivia, in the Yungas. At the age of 13, he served as an assistant to the North American sculptor Harchifer Jhosthon, who carved wood with flagstone from a place called Tojene de Umuchi for a while. He later acquired the appropriate tools and experimented with his work, beginning to sculpt images of his creativity, demonstrating his artistic talent, and converting his home into a lithographic museum.

Queahuani Natural Lookout Hill
It is one of the locations from which Lake Titicaca can be observed in all its magnitude, breadth, and majesty. It is an ideal place to capture images and enjoy the surrounding landscape. Located 7 km west of Moho, Cerro Queahuani covers an area of 9 km2. Its slopes begin along Lake Titicaca, and its highest altitude is 4,065 meters above sea level. The environment is cold and temperate, moderated by the lake, which absorbs and retains solar energy during the day and releases it at night. Given its location and topography, it is one of the places from which Lake Titicaca can be observed in its entirety, extent, and magnitude.

Putina Cucho Hot Springs
Located 3.5 km southeast of Moho, this Putina Cucho spa boasts crystal-clear hot springs with a temperature of 21°C. It offers a 30 x 20 m outdoor pool and a 10 x 5 m indoor pool, as well as changing rooms and restrooms. Surrounded by green areas for picnics, it is located in a pleasant setting on the slopes of Cuchopata Hill. This thermal oasis is distinguished by its unique climate and the natural beauty of the area.

Supullullo Water
The myth of the "Agüita de Supullullo" is a popular belief among the people of Moho. It is said that those who taste this enchanted water become linked to the town. It is found in a spring near the road to Lloquesani. It is said that many outsiders have stayed in Moho after tasting the water and found love. Singles should drink it at midnight to find a partner, but married people should not try it. The "Agüita de Supullullo" is also a source of inspiration for artists, who improve their compositions after visiting it.
